writing a check on a closed account
I have to admit that I’m a cheapskate when it comes to paying bills, and I’m even more aware of this fact when it comes to my finances. I’m a huge believer that you should treat your money like your own property since you’re the one that’s responsible for it.
In a way this is the same thing. You’re the one who created the money.
Im not the first to do this, but it is something that I have done myself. I always have a hard time writing checks on closed accounts because of the feeling that I am creating a legal paper trail. I have even contemplated doing it myself but I haven’t had the courage because I don’t want to mess up my credit.
I would recommend this because it makes you feel like you are not in control of your money. But there are a few caveats: First, the account has to be closed. Second, there has to be a bank or account number on the check. Third, you have to have a bank account number that you have a personal relationship with. Finally, you have to be an adult in the first place. Otherwise, you could face a huge fine and a month in jail.
As a self-employed contractor I know the difference between being under contract and having a full checking account. The one we have and I know is fully closed. I also know that you need to have a bank account with the same number as on the check to be able to be approved for a bank transfer. If you cannot get approval for a bank transfer through your checking account, you can use an online transfer.
I know many people who have closed accounts and cannot get approved for bank transfers. I also know that the IRS takes a long time to mail you a tax form. It’s a lot to deal with. In the meantime, you need to have a bank account with your name written on the check to be able to get approved for a bank transfer. The process is easy.
One of the things I have been thinking about over the past few days is what can be done when you are unable to get a bank transfer through your account. I am thinking about the situation in which you are unable to get approved for a bank transfer because the account is closed and the owner is out of town. There are many bank accounts with no owner and no way to get approval for a bank transfer. In this situation, you could use a check payable to a closed account.
You can use a check made out to a closed account, but you need to be sure to sign your name. My bank uses a signature-challenge for closed accounts, so I need to make sure to sign my name.
The problem is that many banks won’t allow check signature challenges. So you’d have to write a check or cash it yourself. Even if you had the signature challenge, you’d be pretty careful about using that as a form of proof. It’s still better than taking a loan to pay back the bank.
