is it safe to give out last 4 digits of ssn
So many people have had their cellphones stolen, and many people don’t realize that it’s even possible to get a last 4 digit of a SSN number if you’re looking for an international number.
It happens all the time. I was looking over one of my contacts yesterday and noticed the number was different from the number on the contact. In the UK, it looks like 84567. I guess I will have to change my number.
So, I guess since many people are stealing cellphones right now, its safe to give your last four digits of your SSN.
For some reason people don’t realize that it’s possible to get a last 4 digit of a SSN number if you’re looking for an international number.
So yeah, a lot of people do this. I am just pointing out that its not too hard to find the 4 digit number if you want to.
Yes, a lot of people do this because they’re probably trying to find a cellular phone number they can put their SSN into to get the last digits of. In fact, they can even find the last two digits of an SSN if they’re really looking for the last two digits of a number.
We’ve got an SSN for the last two digits of a SSN. I know it’s probably totally fake, but a lot of us might actually have one of these. If you see a number that looks like it has these 4 digit SSNs, you could probably use it to find your SSN number because if you’re looking for SSN numbers but you’re not thinking about the last four digits, you could probably also find your SSN number.
That said, since the majority of the internet is just a bunch of computers, it would probably be good to make sure that noone is storing the last 4 digits of a SSN. If you’re going to store something that you know is fake, make sure that you are storing it correctly.
I would be worried if all of the people that were on that SSN were trying to get you to give it out. That could cause a problem. But I suppose if you were trying to steal the SSN number, you could just keep it and try to get it back later.
