best credit card for recent college graduates
My advice to recent college grads? Get a credit card that offers you the most interest rate possible for your credit line. This will really show you that you don’t need to max out your credit limit. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a few cards where I’ve been using my credit line for more than the balance on the card, and it’s not worth it.
Of course, you also need to consider the fact that your credit card isnt always the best option. If you can, always have a personal loan so you can start working off those credit card balances as soon as possible.
The point of credit cards is to create collateral for the interest you owe. If your card gets suspended or cancelled, you have to pay for the balance. Since you cant use the card, you have to pay for the interest and balance yourself. This is not only bad for your wallet, it’s bad for you emotionally. So, if you are going to be spending money on a card, it needs to be something you have a good reason to spend it on.
