I know I know, I know its a bit depressing – but its a horrible situation to be in because you are relying on someone else to pay you and you can’t get out of it without a huge amount of money going out of your pocket. And all the while your landlord is not only abusing your credit but also using it to get your home ready for sale.

All it says is, “I don’t know what you’re doing, but I do know that you’re on the very last page of your website.” But if it’s the first page – and I can see why – then you should just move in and get an apartment. If you can’t get a new apartment, then you have to take your wife to the cleaners. Or, if you can’t get a new place, then you have to find a new place.

If your apartment’s been on the market for three years, then you probably need to move. (If you think your situation is too bad, then you need to call the National Credit Union. I am sure you have your own phone number, so you can get a free credit report.) But the reality is that there are a lot of people out there who are just renting all the time, so you can’t just blame the landlord.

Of course, this is a good thing to know if you’re thinking about starting your own home-based business. Whether you’re just getting started or you’re on your way, it’s a good idea to get a credit score (or report) from your local credit bureau.
